I've been working on creating my own textures to use on photos.  Here's one using two photo's I've taken and made a few adjustments using "curve" and different brushes and tones.

Road Trip

We were so tired of the heat here in Las Vegas, we decided to take a day road trip to Utah to cool off a bit.

We own some land up there, so what better excuse than to go check it out to see what's developing up around us.

I shot a few pics on the way up and pulled over to take some photos of the scenic view, way off in the distance is Zion National Park.  As we were heading up to Duck Creek, UT we saw a sweet little deer grazing on the side of the road.

It was nice to get away and see some green and smell the fresh pine filled air.
