Here's my first attempt:
I started off with the texture, dropped petal and added my two photos, 1) leaves on a tree, 2) a church steeple, both at blending modes overlay anywhere from 85% - 100% (I can't remember). I then added PDPA's texture "leafy landscape" blending mode overlay 100%.
I thought it needed a little something so I added another photo of mine 3) seagulls
using blending mode difference at approximately 95%.
It really changed the whole photo. Here are the actually photos I used...

Love the first piece, the colours are so soft
Lovely abstracts! Love the lone steeple among the leaves.
Nice work, Kathy . . . I enjoy both versions of your piece.
Wonderful piece. I love the edition of the seagulls.
Super abstracts, I like both versions but maybe the top, soft colours one edges it for me, so lovely.
these are both just amazing!! I love the seagulls and how they totally transformed your piece.
You’ve created such wonderful rich tones. I really enjoy how the gulls create a focus in the piece and offer nice contrast between their white feathers and the background.
Very nice photo art!
Kathy-I'm in love with your seagulls photo! That really made it come alive for me. Great job!
