Texture Tuesday's Pretty in Pink eDition

Our challenge this week was to use any of Kim Klassen's texture and PINK.  She mentioned to think outside the box.  I was racking my brain on this all week...trying to think of anything other than flowers, babies, girls, etc...I couldn't really come up with anything, my creativity factor just wasn't working.

I was talking with my business partner about it and asked her to help me think outside "my" box, because I love to take pictures of flowers, and she suggested to take a picture of our clouds we've been having (which is very unusual for us here in Las Vegas).  She had taken a picture of the sky over the weekend with her IPhone using a special film filter and it looked really cool.  This filter gave the clouds a pinkish tent to them.

So, I looked through some of my pictures because at this point it was getting a bit late to go take a new photo.  Here is what I came up with....

I used Kim's Dusty Rose at 100% Color Legacy.
I erased the texture off of everything except the sky.

Here's the original...
I wish I knew how to do the mouse over.

You really did think outside of the box and I love it. I tried to do the same for my textured shot this week. Have a great weekend!
