For this "Blog Carnival" we chose to write about what we're working on.
We are working on a "Custom Bottle" design. The customer requested we use a special bottle that she sent to us. She wants to use the bottle to put her "wishes" on little pieces of paper to put in the bottle. She gave us some colors that she'd like us to use and left the rest to our creative minds....scary! lol...
So we're off and running...so far we've gotten the top part of the bottle made. We wrapped it with transparent clay, then laid another layer of clay which is midnight blue with stars stamped out of it on top so the transparent clay will show through. We hand carved swirls all through the midnight blue clay and swirled pigment on as well.
Our plan is to make clouds out of different colors of blues and purples with swirls on them and add them to the bottom half of the bottle. The stopper will have stars shooting out of it. We can't wait until it's all done.
Well, we finally finished it...here is the final product!

Well, we've finished it and if we could be so bold to say...."We think it turned out wishfully fabulous"...lol. I will have pictures up in a couple of days!
