Edit Me Challenge - Week 22

This weeks challenge is being judged by Kristi from Live and Love out Loud.  The photo is of her beautiful daughter.  I didn't want to do to much changing on this, mainly because the photo itself is pretty good.  I just went in and smoothed out her skin a bit, desaturated the photo some, did a little cross processing and added a vignette to bring more focus on her lovely face.  I also added a little more color to her lips, eyelashes and eyebrows.

Working in GIMP

Run mouse over to see before

This is a photo I took several years ago of a friend's daughter.  I noticed that Photoshop has all kinds of cool "Actions" that can be used and since I can't afford Photoshop, I decided I'd look to see if there was anything out there that could be used in GIMP.  Well I found a few "Actions" and I used one of them on this photo.  I found them on DeviantArt.com SilaynneStock.  I'm still learning GIMP, but so enjoying finding really cool things to help in the process.

I can't wait until tomorrow for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday.  This weeks challenge is "Movie Title"...more tomorrow on this.

Have a wonderful day and keep those cameras clicking!
